The press agency of the city of Oldenburg manages the press articles and public relations of Oldenburg. More than 1.000 press reports from all areas of the municipal authorities are released every year. Several thousand questions from journalists are answered every year.

Furthermore, press conferences and photograph appointments are organized for special occasions.

The press agency is also responsible for the website www.oldenburg.de and looks after the city’s Corporate-Design. In addition, the press agency manages the advertisement for the city’s markets (Ostermarkt, Kramermarkt and Lambertimarkt) and publishes the monthly calendar of events with about 300 events every month in the city.
