In the main inspection, your vehicle will be checked for technical safety in road traffic. The main inspection is only due after three years for new vehicles, and then every two years after that. A further component of the main inspection is the emissions test.

Due to the significant parking problems in the residential areas near to the city centre, the City of Oldenburg issues resident parking permits on request.
