Civil Penalty Procedure
Online Hearing
back to the German Website „Online-Anhörung“ »
You can use this free service provided by the Civil Fine Payment Office (Bußgeldstelle) to enter your personal data and details regarding the matter of the civil penalty (Ordnungswidrigkeit) of which you have been accused. This option can also be used to fill out a witness questionnaire (Zeugenfragebogen) or for online payments.
You can register using the user ID and password that you will find on your written notice of a hearing (Anhörung). The access details are valid for two weeks, and cannot be used after this period.
After registering successfully, you can choose to either clear up the matter by paying the fine or fill in the required details and provide a statement on the matter. You can print a verification document for your records.
As soon as you have a) paid the fine, or b) entered and submitted the required personal data and details on the matter electronically, you no longer have to return our letter in paper form.
In case of a comprehensive statement (Stellungnahme), you can of course send additional documents (photos, copies, etc.) to: Stadt Oldenburg, Bußgeldstelle, Pferdemarkt 14, 26121 Oldenburg or to the email address bussgeld[at]stadt-oldenburg.de.
If you accept the offer to simply pay the given fine and transfer the money, then it is no longer necessary to fill out the online hearing form.
